City Escape 06:05
tailored to the line, twisting factory line. ease of mind, ease of mind, nevermind. nevermind, over time, over time, it's long gone. straighten out the lines, into shapes you like. come to find, come to find, peace of mind. peace of mind, with the line, with the line. it goes on --- constructed so nice a tower in the east you can use to find your way home control refined a delicate pattern of notes in your mind that only you know a narrow fascination the hollow blinding gleam a common situation i only hope you see that you might be looking into a fog holding on for a touch of clarity connection aligned atmospheric radio waves flow through your veins conveniently timed the fractions of a blink of an eye seems like a long wait a narrow fascination the hollow blinding gleam a common situation i only hope you see that you might be looking into a fog holding on for a touch of clarity when i close my eyes the words all come to me natural cosmic scenery brighter than the screens come settle down where the signals are weak and i'll show you why i like it so cold

morning on jones of july wake up to a summer sky the neighborhood is so alive with sunshine painted faces dad's off work and feelin' fine his cooler filled with cold delight mom won't swim buts she's still happy too for all i know it feels so real those years seem unreal later on jones of july drive out to the county line to get a handful of those rockets illuminate the night a celebration in the sky showers of sparks and colors fly the sun retreats for unknown reasons that i will NEVER know it feels so real those years seem unreal
3.
it's like a floating tower ceramic potted flower if i could justify it i'd buy a plane and fly it a mangled mess i'm left with just cart it away i found my old camping tent where we would stay a view atop a boulder much less warm than your shoulder i kind of like it locked away probably forever shovel off the top soil and cart it away plant a light bulb garden to show us the way no sound phone rings here on call
4.
conjuring light levitating stones spells in the night summoning the ghosts from year ago it's kind of lonely witching in these times staying out of sight concealing what you are you really ought to show you really gotta be honest you shouldn't have to be covering up you really gotta be honest characterize the perfect potion and don't try to hide it open up our eyes you really ought to show you really gotta be honest you shouldn't have to be covering up you really gotta be honest
5.
such a great Tennessee man my grandfather was he would fly a kite in the cold only for us i can still remember the smell of his closet perfect memories what he did for us strap the crab trap to the roof and head for the ocean only catch enough for a soup, but everyone loved him we built sandcastles and he built a family the patriarchitect's constructions will... go on when we see his favorite chair in our minds he's sitting there we still think people can't die but god only knows people they try... to go on
6.
down by the riverside boats docked by the riverside they come and go up on the riverside green hills of the riverside they're home to us when you're away you won't forget the curvy highway to your head pleased by the scene of trees in daytime fishing poles are stored for the winter up on the mountainside small church on the mountainside those kids will ring the sunday bell up on the mountainside (there's smoke!) billowing from the mountainside our flames, they burn in the mirror when you're away you won't forget the river runs straight through your head breath crystallized to ice on a Tennessee snow day drop my bait line down into the water really down low i know i'd kill for these hills where i was raised up
7.
The W Road 05:47
into to town and then i go back home again haven't got a wink of sleep conversations and i go "no, no, no" whatever could you mean? feelin' so damn glad i am doin' mighty fine well i never been so high (woo) i know you've seen us part of all of the time said everyone to me did you see my note? have you ever thought to call? it's all on me 'til i run home --- people people walk their dogs up on signal mtn through the morning fog listen listen for your name up on signal mtn where the hiking trail's the same people people all along the vine up on signal mtn where my daddy's not to find listen listen all of the time up on signal mtn where the climbing's all mine

Patterns 03:50
wet are the walls new figures, oh my a song synced to a lit cigarette a pattern pushing back warm calming lights desires, oh my a sweet inhalation of oxygen reminding that there's life
9.
Fresh Fruit 03:22
tried to tune outside it's hard to do but i swallowed my pride trace the lines and fill with color-coded men in fact they will close their eyes and smile drive the highway for miles farmhand downtown pretty pony dance around looking up trees are fresh fruit in a jar they are blind to space taking notes in their place offer all their know how wasted above what's allowed sneak around at night i'm sure avoid detection, light, blur faster than my cat my new friend, bring me back
10.
Oak 05:45
hailey, don't leave me i'm at a loss, at a loss an oak tree, so neighborly it's so tall, seen it all it's a wild ride i've grown so accustomed to senseless nightmares the peace that you'll find is buried at the foot of your live oak back home to leave here, a fever it's in my soul, it's in mine an oak tree, believe me can live a long time it's a wild ride down rivers on rafts made of old dead branches the peace that you'll find is sinking somewhere under the surface darling --- feel like comin' by and saying all the same things even though i feel it, even though i don't as far as i can tell, everybody knows it the silly notion that everything is good feeling multiplied by all the swirling satellites orbiting my conscience, it's kinda like the lonely carpenter that carved up all those oak logs blinded by the sawdust he built himself a home
